1990 - 2008

 

1990 | Richard Arendsee & Al Rabalais form WAK Management in Lewisville, TX, for purpose of purchasing and managing properties for the Arendsee Group • Bahama Glen purchased

1991 | Oak Landing condominiums purchased, redeveloped and sold over next 2 years • Roxboro House Apartments purchased • Renovation completed in 1992

1992 | Tower Bay mobile home park purchased (sold in 2007) • Holiday Hills Apartments purchased • Holiday Hills II apartments purchased

1996 | A.W. Arendsee Real Estate, Inc., established as a commercial real estate brokerage company in San Diego (sold in 2004)

1998 | Fountains apartments purchased • John Gillespie joins WAK Management (he had previously worked for a Four Winds affiliate) • Allan Arendsee helps found Southwest Community Bank and joins their Board of Directors

1999 | Falls apartments purchased (sold in 2015)

2000 | Fountain Square apartments purchased

2003 | Del Rey Village apartments purchased (sold in 2008) • Summer Glen apartments purchased (sold in 2016) • Richard Arendsee helps found California Community Bank in Escondido, CA and is elected Chairman of the Board

2004 | Fountains Corner apartments purchased • Fountains Gardens apartments purchased

2005 | Saint Croix apartments purchased • Summer Hill apartments purchased

2006 | Southwest Community Bank sold to Placer Sierra Bank – Allan Arendsee joins Board at Placer Sierra Bank

2007 | Placer Sierra Bank sells to Wells Fargo • Allan Arendsee joins Brandy Investments • Allan Arendsee joins Board of Directors at Seacoast Commerce Bank • The Allan & Lyndsey Arendsee Family Foundation [501()c)(3)] established to promote charitable donations by Allan & Lyndsey Arendsee and their family

2008 | Silverwood apartments purchased • Allan Arendsee elected Chairman of the Board at Seacoast Commerce Bank

2009 - Present

 

2012 | Trinity Meadows apartments purchased • California Community Bank sold to Regents Bank

2013 | Al Rabalais retires from WAK Management and WAK PIM, LLC is established

2014 | Autumn Breeze apartments purchased • Hulen Gardens apartments purchased

2015 | Springfield Crossing apartments purchased • KAWA Insurance, Inc. established as a licensed Texas captive insurance company • Keith Arendsee joins WAK Management and Brandy Investments

2016 | Woodlands apartments purchased

2018 | Tuscany apartments purchased • Luigi Cardillo Jr. (Generation 3) joins WAK Management and Brandy Investments

2019 | Point Breeze apartments purchased in Nashville, TN  • Purchased Heritage Hills Townhomes in Nashville, Purchased Waterford Landings in Clarksville, TN,  •  Purchased Coventry at Cityview in Fort Worth.  • Sold all Fountains group apartments in Fort Worth.

2020 | Dolce Vita Apartments purchased in Arlington, TX • East Forest Park Apartments purchased in Dickson, TN  • Seacoast Commerce Bank sold to Enterprise Financial Services Corp.

2021 | Construction starts on Aria at Heritage Hills (85 units) – Massive renovation starts at Point Breeze resulting in name change to Ascent East Nashville

2022 | Construction starts at East Forest Park II (65 units) – Bowen of Arlington purchased in Arlington – Autumn Breeze Townhomes purchased in Lewisville, TX.

2023 | Construction completed at Aria at Heritage Hills – Richard Arendsee passes away.

2024 | “The Best Is Yet to Come…”
